Monster Hunter Stories Collection are two RPGs that plunge you into the world of Monster Hunter while developing this universe in an original and exciting way! This time, you're not hunting monsters, you're raising them! In this story featuring the Riders, you live alongside monsters and form lifelong bonds with them. They're back with completely revamped graphics, dubbed in Japanese and English and with all the content previously only available in Japan.

Monster Hunter Stories:

You play the role of a hero born in a village of Riders, people who make their living by breeding monsters. Over the course of time, you overcome many trials and tribulations, then leave your village to set off on an adventure. Your destination is the world of hunters, who earn their living by slaughtering monsters. Despite the clash of cultures, you will learn to live and cooperate with the hunters, until one day you succeed in bringing these two very different communities together.


Things take a dramatic turn for the worse when a calamity known as the Black Scourge appears, threatening the whole world and peaceful lives taken for granted... Riders and Hunters will be severely tested in the face of this peril.

A new adventure awaits you in the sequel to the turn-based RPG set in the world of Monster Hunter! Play as a Rider and bond with the loving monsters known as Monsties, who will fight alongside you on this epic journey.


Your character's grandfather was a famous Rider called Red. It all begins with your chance encounter with Ena, a Wyverian girl who has been entrusted with a legendary Rathalos egg. If it hatches, its destructive power could well cause untold chaos!
